This is a new exciting role we are creating — you will join our team to help to supply production. You will need to work well in a team, enjoy learning new tasks and be able to use excel; word etc. Oh and it would help it you were happy!

Overview

This is a permanent full time role which is a progressive role!

The job includes

  • production planning
  • checking goods inwards and allocating to works orders
  • stock taking for works orders
  • creating estimates for customers
  • liasing with production staff in planning meetings
  • taking notes from meetings and updating

Going forward we would also like you to support the Purchasing Lead by sourcing components and negotiating pricing. This is a new role with the opportunity to progress in the company.

Things to Consider

Apprenticeship National Minimum Wage (ANMW): The National Minimum Wage for Apprentices is £4.81 per hour. This is the legal minimum pay per hour applying to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their apprenticeship. For apprentices 19 or over who have completed their first year and are continuing their apprenticeship, the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies.

Training to be Delivered

A Level 3 Apprenticeship is delivered entirely in the workplace where you will gain knowledge, understanding and skills on the job. An Assessor from Leeds City College will visit you on a regular basis to complete your college work.

Leeds city college training:

We will support and coach the apprentice through the apprenticeship standard. We will carry out both curriculum and pastoral care. We will carry out the skills development workshop days off site. They will oversee the teaching and learning around the knowledge, behaviours and skills elements of the standard, outlined below. We will manage the apprentice’s OneFile account ensuring targets, milestones and deadlines are achieved.
