Overview

  • Reception duties and day to day running of the business administration and keeping patient attendance records and diary.
  • Working with the Physiotherapists to support them.
  • Managing the banking side of the business.
  • Reception duties including meeting and greeting patients, answering the phone, keeping the patient diary and preparing treatment rooms for the patients.

Administration duties include:

  • using our specially written software program for billing patients
  • communicating with insurance company’s and Doctors and consultants
  • Supporting the Physiotherapists with their administration such as report writing
  • keeping patient spreadsheets up to date
  • liaising with organisations we have contracts with.

Banking administration including:

  • visiting the bank to make deposits
  • checking bank statements
  • reconciling money received into the business with the bank statements

About the Employer

A Small well established private physiotherapy practice based in Leeds city centre. There are two full time physiotherapists and a small number of complimentary therapists who do sessional work at they practice. We are treating patients with Musculo-skeletal problems (Neck and back pain, sports injuries, whiplash, pregnancy back pain arthritis)

Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner apprenticeship standard.

Training to be delivered by Leeds City College.

What You Need

Desired Qualifications

Grade C or 4 in English and Maths desirable. The successful candidate must complete the 2 year customer service level 2 course

  • A team player and a willingness to learn and develop themselves as a person. Make a contribution to the family friendly atmosphere within the clinic
  • A good knowledge of computers including spreadsheets
  • A good knowledge of social media platforms to be used as a marketing opportunity
  • Understanding what is expected working in a professional organisation

  • Good personal presentation as the face of the clinic
