This is an exciting opportunity to join an established HR team responsible for all aspects of HR, including payroll and learning and development. No two days will be the same. Full support and development from our friendly team will be further enhanced by working towards a Level 3 CIPD qualification.


Key accountabilities include: 

  • Accurate and timely administration of people transactions in Ntouch and other HR systems, ensuring all data and records are maintained in line with GDPR requirements 
  • Administration of training records and documentation; coordination and booking of training courses and associated requirements 
  • Administration of the recruitment process; advertising and monitoring all job vacancies on internal and external systems, carry out initial screening and short listing of candidates, liaising with managers to organise interviews 
  • Produce offer letters and contracts of employment 
  • Support the onboarding of new starters, working with managers to document training requirements and completing and issuing new starter induction packs 
  • Involvement in disciplinary and grievance and other employee relations processes 
  • Support the Payroll team with relevant payroll administration 
  • Coordination and administration of purchasing for the HR team using Ariba system 
  • Respond to queries on HR and payroll policies and procedures 
  • Support the HR team with other relevant activities

Training to be Delivered

A Level 3 Apprenticeship is delivered entirely in the workplace and you will gain knowledge, understanding and skills on the job and an Assessor from Leeds City College will visit you in your place of work on a regular basis.  

Functional Skills qualifications: 

  • Level 1 Functional Skill in English 
  • Level 1 Functional Skill in Maths 
  • Level 1 Functional Skill in ICT 

Leeds city college training:  

We will support and coach the apprentice through the apprenticeship standard. We will carry out both curriculum and pastoral care. We will carry out the skills development workshop days off site. They will oversee the teaching and learning around the knowledge, behaviours and skills elements of the standard, outlined below. We will manage the apprentice’s OneFile account ensuring targets, milestones and deadlines are achieved.
