About Leeds City College Arts Fund

The growth of Creative Arts at Leeds City College resulted in the investment in a brand new Quarry Hill Campus in Leeds Cultural Quarter. This presented a number of opportunities for Leeds City College to contribute to regional cultural engagement and conversation.

Leeds City College Arts Fund aims to facilitate the career development of emerging creative practitioners by providing funding for significant work in the early years of their careers, when self-funding projects is often a barrier to creating new work.

Leeds City College is one of the largest further education institutions in the country with more than 20,000 students. The School of Creative Arts is home to 1500 Graphic Designers, Dancers, Musicians, Artists, Actors, Photographers, Musical Theatre Performers, Theatre Designers, Film Makers, Journalists, Games Designers, Theatre Technicians, Music Producers and Textile specialists.
